Christmas

It's Christmas day today, and I hope everyone is having a fantastic time. I have to work tonight which I am really upset about. I close by myself and the roads are horrible (an example: it took Eric and I an hour to get from Woodville to Spring Valley, 4 cars were in the ditch, one car was in an actual accident air bags deployed and everything), and I am the only person who lives this far away from work and nobody will cover for me. And I understand that it's Christmas and everyone has plans and whatnot, but seriously. Why is a gas station in a small town even open on Christmas anyways? Most people pay off of their card at the pump anyways. Even our assistant manager says that they shouldn't be open, it's pointless and a waste of money. We don't have anything up there at the gas station that people are going to need anyways. So, I'm a little upset about this whole ordeal. I called in like four hours early to see if someone could work for me and he said no. Plain out no. Because he had things to do and didn't want to work that long. I understand completely, but he lives a block away instead of me who lives twenty miles away. I guess it's kinda worth the money, but I don't think that driving in really crappy roads is worth it. It's not worth putting mine and Eric's life in danger. The roads are just going to be getting worse by the night. It's a really sucky situation, but then again, I guess I can get some cleaning when I'm there. But then again I can't go in the back at all for anything. I can't even like mop or sweep or anything, then again before the other kid who's working goes home I can go and get everything ready and keep it up by the front. Ugh. Well, I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas with their family.
